EUROTEK TK joint tapes are elastic, industrially manufactured polysulfide-based sealing tapes with a high polymer content of 40% and exceptional cold flexibility down to –50 °C. They are manufactured in accordance with the dimensional specifications of DIN EN 18540 and meet the highest standards for permanent elasticity, adhesion, and weather resistance.

The key advantage of the EUROTEK TK joint tape system lies in its free overlap across the joint. This allows for maximum movement absorption, and the available joint cross-section can be individually adjusted by selecting the appropriate tape width. The combination of high elasticity and optimized geometry minimizes tensile forces and ensures a durable, reliable, and liquid-tight seal, even in the presence of complex structural movements or different building materials.

Thanks to the unique property of cold vulcanization of polysulfide, partial repairs and butt joints can be made seamlessly and liquid-tight with minimal effort. As a result, the insulation between the concrete shells dries out, which has been proven to significantly improve thermal and electrical insulation properties.

Polysulfide-based joint tapes offer very high resistance to UV radiation and weathering. This finding is based on more than 50 years of long-term experience.
