D2 Airfield Protect EP 1000

D2 Airfield Protect EP 1000 is an unfilled 2-component epoxy resin primer that is used in the system for D2 coverings on air traffic areas in accordance with BFR 9021.

Due to the low viscosity, good wetting properties, the resin penetrates very well into the mechanically prepared substrate and thus provides a high-strength base for the subsequent D2 coating.

D2 Airfield Protect EP 1000 has been tested against the effects of moisture on the reverse side and shows high chemical resistance to kerosene, aviation fuel, brake fluids, oils and formates (de-icing fluids) and is therefore specially designed for the stresses in the area of air traffic facilities.
