2C polysulphide joint tape
System description
The 2C polysulphide joint tape EUROTEK TK Fugenband WHG/LAU is industrially manufactured and prefabricated. The joint tape is bonded using the stable polysulphide adhesive EUROLASTIC TC 30 S, which can be easily and conveniently applied on site using the cartridge filling station.
With different strip widths of 80 – 300 mm, the waterstops are particularly suitable for renovating undersized or oversized joints in non-trafficable areas with above-average overall movement. The time-consuming removal of old, defective joint sealants is not necessary, as the joint tape is laid over the existing joint.
The 2K polysulphide joint tape is characterized by special properties:
- Chemically resistant
- Partially repairable thanks to cold vulcanization
- Non-sticky, even at high temperatures (+50°C)
- Elastic, even at low temperatures (-40°C)
- Resistant to ageing, UV and weathering
- recyclable
- High notch resistance
Areas of application
New construction or renovation of horizontal and vertical joints not subject to traffic in LAU systems according to WHG with high chemical stress and above-average overall movement,
e.g. tank bases, floor-wall transitions, internal and external corners, cracks, oversized and undersized joints, flare floor tanks and ring foundations
