EUROTEK TK JOINT TAPE
2C polysulphide joint tape
- EUROTEK TK joint tape
- EUROLASTIC TK 51
- EUROLASTIC Primer B1
- EUROTAPE
- Existing defective sealant
System description
The 2C polysulphide joint tape EUROTEK TK joint tape is a weather-resistant, industrially manufactured joint tape. The shape of the tape complies with DIN 18540. 1C polysulphide adhesive EUROLASTIC TK 51 is used for bonding up to a tape width of 140 mm. From a tape width of 160 mm, the 2-component polysulphide adhesive EUROLASTIC TC 30 S is used.
Thanks to the use of different strip widths (25 mm – 250 mm), the waterstops are suitable for the renovation of undersized and oversized joints with above-average overall movement.
The time-consuming removal of old, defective joint sealants is not necessary, as the joint tape is laid over the existing joint.
The 2K polysulphide joint tape is characterized by special properties:
- Partially repairable thanks to cold vulcanization
- Non-sticky, even at high temperatures (+50°C)
- Elastic, even at low temperatures (-40°C)
- Resistant to ageing, UV and weathering
- recyclable
- High notch resistance
Areas of application
Horizontal and vertical structural joints with above-average overall movement, e.g. for external wall joints between concrete and precast reinforced concrete elements.
Further possible applications for EUROTEK TK joint tape can be found in the EUROTEK TK joint tape for building construction and WHG/LAU flyer.
You can find a concrete application example in our project report Renovation of the façade at Friedrichsfelder Tor in Berlin.
